How do I find out more about a group/event?
Register your interest here and we'll be in contact with more information about the specific events/groups you're interested in.
What does it cost?
Our groups will always be provided on a pay what you want basis (down to £0!). We want these groups to be available to everyone who wants them.Where possible we will also provide free refreshments and goods, our capacity to do this will be limited until we have our own community space.
Where are events held?
This will vary according to the groups needs, however they will always be located in the Bexhill area. We hope to open our own location that will cater to everyone and allow for more ad-hoc events.
How will you provide for such a diverse range of groups?
We'll need your help, the goal is that each group will be able to collectively organise, with Beawitching Communities providing funding, spaces and whatever additional support may be needed. We want to remove the headache of organising to give you more space to connect and build.
Do you have a policy on new group or workshop submissions?
As long as the group focuses on the lives and connections of people in Bexhill and the surrounding areas we will work to facilitate this.
We will not facilitate any sort of groups that are discriminatory or otherwise hateful.
Who are Beawitching Communities?
We are a Community Interest Company, focused on providing for LGBTQ+ people across the UK and disadvantaged communities in the East-Sussex area. find out more here
